From the appearance, the difference between them is as follows:

.Strings: Nylon strings for classical guitars and steel strings for acoustic guitars.

.Pickguard: There is no pickguard for classical guitars, because classical guitars are mostly used for solo performances. The pickguard on an acoustic guitar is used to prevent the top from being scratched when strumming.

.Headstock: There are two string grooves on the headstock of a classical guitar, and the winding shaft is located inside the headstock. The headstock of folk guitars is mostly made of rectangular solid wood, and the stringers are on the surface of the headstock.

.Bridge: The bridge of the folk guitar has six through holes for the bridge and the strings to pass through, which is another part that fixes the strings. There are no string fixing cones and through holes on the bridge of the classical guitar.

.String bridge: The upper end of the string bridge of the folk guitar is curved, and the string bridge of the classical guitar is straight.

.Fingerboard: The fingerboard of the folk guitar is narrow and slightly curved, which is convenient for string bending and chord pressing; the fingerboard of the classical guitar is wide and straight, and the string spacing is large, which is convenient for fingers to press the strings and play.
